1st Day of 2nd Grade!

This little lady was super nervous to start at a new school.

but after meeting her nice teachers and already meeting a few friends,
she's excited.

Someone was feeling a little left out that he wasn't going to school

Poor thing was on year round at her old school and her new school is not. 

She only got less than a month break for summer. 

We pretty much spent that whole time moving, I think she felt a jipped ;)

After school I told Ella I would take her to get a special treat and she begged for chuck E cheese. 

So off we went..

(that place can drive you nuts, but she was so excited how could you not go) 

It was her lucky day b/c she won over 800 tickets! She cashed it in for a teeny tiny stuffed animal, you'd think she would have won one of the bigger prizes with that many tickets right?! Not how they roll at chuckies. Pretty sure no one wins the big prizes. She didn't care she was thrilled with her winnings.

 A few days later we were invited to an after school beach play date. 

Rough life to be a California kid right?!

She seems pleased as punch with the start of 2nd grade!
