Ella got into a fight with a pole and the pole won.

Go figure that my super cautious kiddo is the one who gets the 1st black eye. ouch!

She was in PE at school and turned too quickly into a pole and wham! Shiner city. It seriously made the prettiest colors on her face, people thought it was makeup or paint. She was so brave and didn't make too much of it (she was a little embarrassed) 

Sweet thing, she does make a black eye look pretty!
