Beach Bonfire

A little tradition we do every summer with our San Diego friends. Love Beach bonfires, roasting hot dogs, and making smores....feels like summer time. But this bonfire was bitter sweet b/c some of our crew will be moving :( The Palmer's are finishing up law school and moving back home to Vegas. And the Jeppesens are finishing their medical residency up in Sacramento. Makes me sad to see these families go. They will be sorely missed!!

We thought it would be fitting to send them off in San Diego style and have a big farewell beach bonfire. It was a great time and the kids got completely covered in sand and marshmallows so we know they had a blast to.

The guys...minus Dan, he was on his way, had to pick up more firewood. We weren't ready for the night to end :)

 All the little girls love Brenner....he is quite the ladies man.

I love this pic of Ella just busting up with the big kids. Makes me wonder what they were talking about.

So sad to say goodbye to the Palmer's and Jeppesen's. Good luck on your next adventure and make sure to come back soon to visit.

"Beacause He's So Handsome"

I asked Ella why she loves her daddy so much and she told me: 

"Because he's so handsome...and I love his golden hair" Funny lil girl.

For dad's day we were lucky enough to spend the whole day with our main man.

We hit up Mission Bay Park for some monkey bar action. 

Then off to the races.

Ella and Dan LOVE to race each other. I was their cheerleader from the sidelines. No way this 8 1/2 month preggo chick was going to attempt to catch up with them :)

 Next up, walking the beach boardwalk @ mission beach. Fun place to people watch.

Ella and Dan have the sweetest bond and are very close. They usually have every Saturday together just the two of them while I'm busy doing wedding hair. This day I was lucky enough to join in the family fun. I'm so gratefully Ella has such an amazing dad. These two are the cutest things together. I'm excited we get to add another lil buddy to our family very soon. I really couldn't have asked for a better daddy for my kiddo's. I'm a lucky girl indeed :)

B....Is For Baby

Our computer is not fixed yet but I'm going to attempt to blog on Dan's Laptop and see how it goes. I'm not too laptop savvy, more of  a desktop gal.....so here goes....

My amazing friend Ashley, who is the hostest with the mostest, threw the most adorable baby shower for baby boy Jones (still no name...would love any input) It was an ABC theme and beyond darling. I have to show you all the decor b/c she really out did herself. Thank you again Ashley, and all who came for making me and baby feel so loved.

Crash. Smoke. Burn.

Well our computer crashed.... :( All that's left is a black screen. I knew this day would come around sometime since many of my friends just recently had their computer crash, but I still wasn't prepared. I have been backing up my files, but lost everything from the last 4 months or so. Makes me grateful I keep a blog so at least I have some up to date pictures saved. I'm hoping we can fix/get a new computer before baby comes. But for now my posts might be picture-less for a bit. Here's to a speedy computer recovery :)

He's Kind Of A Big Deal....

My hubby is a full blown attorney now, was sworn in, and he's working at a great law firm that he loves. It feels so surreal to be completely done with school and have it all behind us. I feel a little like we are playing dress up now that he is in his career, has his own Ocean View Office, and his very own paralegal...Mr. Fancy Pants...I know :) Dan took Ella to visit his new office and even she was impressed (It helped that the big boss has drawers of candy at the firm as well) It's awesome that all the attorneys in this firm have young families with kids around our kid(s) age and they all seem super easy going. I feel very blessed and grateful that Dan has a great job that he is loving. Here is a shout out to the new J-O-B. Start Of Summer

Feels like Memorial Day always kicks the summer off. We spent ours with some friends poolside soaking up the sun. Not a bad way to start the season.
