Ahhhh, thanks to my wonderful mom, and an early b-day present, we have re-newed our sea world pass! Yippee! It's been well over a year and we missed us some Shamu.
My darling friend Kim, is checking off her San Diego bucket list of things to do before she moves back to the east coast (boo don't go) Kim has been my survive law school friend. While our boys were off studying all through school, we had lots of movie nights, lunch dates and hang outs. Somehow she managed to go all 3 years and never go to Sea World! We had to change that asap. I was happy to take her for her 1st Sea World adventure.
Ella begged to feed the Sea Lions (uh, not to happy about this one, since smells make me wanna gag these days and dead fishy was not sounding like a good idea) But heck it was our 1st day back and Kim's 1st day ever...so I caved and gave the lil girl her fish food.
It was crazy going back and seeing how much Ella had grown! They have this area called the 'bay of play' with tons of fun kids stuff to do. Ella was always too short to go into the "big kid" area but what a difference a year makes. She now is just barely tall enough and she felt sooo special. Trying to pull her away from the "big kid" area was quite the challenge. She finally met the height requirement and she wasn't gonna leave without trying out everything at least twice....don't blame her ;)
So fun to play in the Sun at a theme park that's 10 min away. Glad to have you back in our lives again Sea World...you were missed. (thanks mom :)
