It's that time of year.

The County Fair

We raced mini tractors

Hung out with some fluttery winged friends

and fed them nectar.  

 Leo almost ate one

 This fancy lady had her art displayed 

 Little boy dream come true!

Monster truck races and motor cross jumps

 His eyes were as big as saucers.

He was a tad excited :)

End of school and Blueberry Pickin'

 Ella ended the 2nd grade with a field trip to legoland.

I was lucky to join her, little brother free.

I was a parent chaperon for just Ella and her bestie Eva.

Girls just wanna have fun.

What a great way to end 2nd grade with a bang!

 After school, we continued the last day of school fun 

with a mommy/daughter date to Maleficent. 

Love our girl one on one time. 

The boys take up a lot of my attention, 

Its so great to have special "just us girls" time

1st and last day of school.

Kick Off To Summer

 To ring in summertime, 

we met up with friends and went blueberry picking 

at the cutest little berry farm you ever did see!

 Big red barns on a berry farm, 

where you can feed chickens and pigs 

seems super summery to me. 

I'm still a country girl at heart.

 These kids meant business.

They hunted and gathered loads of berries to take home.

Little hands can pick many berries.

Slave labor at its finest ;)

This one ate his weight in blueberries.

A kid after my own heart :)

We are SO in love with our sweet sweet Little Leo Love.

He really adds so much JOY in our home.

With his giant watermelon smile and sparkly blue eyes,
his bleach blond hair and tan little legs,
his little bottom crooked toofers,
his chill baby attitude and his contagious giggle,
his loving baby pats and his itty bitty bum.

He is our little buddy

and were so glad he's ours

 Wedding season is in full swing. 

I'm making bridal parties prrrudy 

every weekend these days

Grandma Lola and Grandpa Allen came to visit us

 As you can see, we LOVE when they come!

 We took them to the Carlsbad flower fields. 

Where we mined for gold, rode a tractor, 

oohed and ahhed over the beauty of all the brilliant colors. 

Then they filled us up with yummy treats 

because that's how grandparents roll.

 Hit up Legoland since its practically in our backyard now

 It was nice to have my mama here over mothers day weekend 

so we could all celebrate together :)

 Went down to the Harbor for mothers day brunch at the Jolly Roger

 Perfect weather, great food
(that you don't have to cook or clean up)
and family. 

What more can you ask for on mamas day

 Also got to sit back while my favoritest peeps 

cleaned up the house and cleaned my car.

While me and the babe caught some vitamin D 

I'm one lucky mama indeed

 More Beach days.

With the weather the way its been, 

how can you not?!

 Helped host a gorgeous shower 

for one of my dearest friends.

 Can't wait to meet your

 "angel baby" girl!

 Played a hilarious game of peek-a-boo 

with this little comedian

 And lastly, Oliver trying to convert baby bro 

into his mad love of super heroes.

The look on Leos face would indicate 

he's definitely on board.
