Yep, that's right, My Hubby is Done with Law school!! Can I get a holla!! I can't believe it's over....well until the BAR that is. Has it really been 3 years already!? On the same note it feels like it's been forever. I couldn't be more proud of Dan! He has worked his tail off throughout law school, with 2 or more jobs at a time, day AND night school, being chair of PBLA, and a husband and father on top of that.
During the ceremony I had to choke back tears a few times thinking of all we had to go through over the past 3 years and the sacrifices we had to make to bring us to this point. It was a very emotional weekend for me. Ella was Dan's biggest cheerleader, every time they called out a name, she would lean over and ask me: "Is it daddy's turn yet?" "I really want to cheer, Go daddy Go. Super loud!" She was just as proud as I was.
The posters we made together to cheer our Grad on. Every chance she got, she would waved her poster high in the air for all to see.
Of course none of this could be possible without the love and support of our family and friends! Thank you to all that came out to support Dan in this amazing achievement. We appreciate all your help along the way.
Dan had to be there and hour before the ceremony to line up etc. I snuck out 1st thing and decorated his truck so he pulled up in style. Dan's not one to draw a lot of attention to himself...but, heck you just finished Law School! I want everyone you drive by to see how awesome we all think you are :)
After the ceremony, we grabbed some fish tacos and headed down to Coronado beach to chill for the rest of the afternoon.
I think these two thought this was the best part of Graduation :)
Baby Madeline's 1st trip to the beach.
So fun to have most of the Jones crew together!
My talented friend Kayliegh, made Dan's cake. Isn't it so awesome?!? she also make me these cute lil graduation candy pops. We all were impressed with her mad skillzMmmmm! Thanks again.
I can't even begin to tell you how glad I am that Dan is done with law school. For as hard as he worked, (and he did!) it was an almost equally hard road for us as well. I feel like I graduated right along with him. I am extremely proud of my hubbs and I always knew he was meant for great things. Now we just need to get that pesky BAR outta the way and wait for our next adventure to begin.....So curious to see where this will take our little family. Thanks again for everyones help and support in making this all possible! Way to go Daniel Louis Jones J.D.!!
