Zoo and Trains

What more could you ask for?
We let the kiddos pick what they wanted to do for the day
Ollie said "choo-choo" Ella said Zoo
So we hit both. Wa-hoo!
A little reading from Mark Twain to start the morning off right
Carousel, airplane rides, and a choo choo train...lucky kids.
Ollie is obsessed with trains right now.
After we rode this little train at the zoo,
the rest of the day, he repeated "choo-choo"
and pumped his little fist about a million times
Ella latest obsession is smashing pennies at the zoo.
She saves her money just for this and has quite a smashed penny collection
They have this cool new exhibit at the SD zoo, where they pair up cheetahs with a companion domestic dog when they are babies and they grow up the best of friends. We could have watched them play all day it was the cutest thing. Who woulda thought?!

This Kid

Sometimes I think I might eat him up I love him so.
He is starting into full blown toddler hood
and can wear me right out!
Oh his precious blankie...is his favorite thing in all the land
Trying to steal it away for a bit to wash it, can be quite a challenge
Running the bases at Petco Park...aka boy heaven
Got himself  "stuck" in a toddler trap....
I was tempted to leave him there for a bit :)
He kills me. Love that little face!

One Proud Auntie

Louisa's and my baby cousin bumps. We are just a few months a part.
I had to snap one last pic before Wesa wasn't preggo anymore

Baby Zoey is Here!!
A Big Congrats to Louisa and Bobbi on their new baby girl Zoey Liegh
Louisa asked me to be her birth coach for when she went into labor and I was thrilled and honored to be a part of it! Poor sweet Wesa had a rough go. She went over a week past her due date and kept getting pushed back day after day to schedule an induction. Finally after 3 days of waiting to schedule her induction...it was baby time! But Zoey was extra comfy and didn't want to make it easy on her mommy.

Louisa was in labor 30+ hours and pushed for 3 1/2 hours after that. Going on just 2 hours of sleep in 2 days she was quite the Olympian. She was so strong and I helped her every way I could by rubbing her feet, back, and neck. Bringing her gossip magazines, painting her toes and watching pitch perfect on DVD. She was a true Rock Star! She endured a lot of pain and was totally exhausted but in the end Zoey came out a beautiful, healthy, sweet baby girl.

She weighed in at 6lbs 9oz
(pretty tiny for being almost 2 weeks late)
and 20inch long
I got lots of snuggle time in.
And it makes me oh so excited to snuggle my new lil man in May..
Hurry up may you can't come soon enough.

Congrats again Louisa! Your a queen, look what you just made.

Can It Be, I'm 33?!

33 really? crazy to think.
I don't feel 33 still feel 21 until I talk to a 21 year old... then I feel 33 :)
I had a great birthday! I felt the love from friends and family all day with sweet cards, texts, phone calls, breakfast and dinner dates...It was a good two days (Yes I milked 2 days out of it)
Woke up to flowers and presents from the hubby and kiddos. Love them
That evening, this hottie took me on a date
Dinner at burlap and off to a luxury theater called cinepolis
I don't think I'll be able to go to a normal theater again!
You sit in the over sized recliners that let you lay all the back (super comfy cozy) You get you own personal waiter to bring you anything you need with a push of a button. They have a full dinner menu, desserts, cafe, from fondue to sushi...even your menu lights up so you can order during the movie, its awesome!
After we grabbed dessert at extraordinary desserts and had coco mint herbal tea which was the perfect way to end a birthday date
Check out this Neapolitan...Yes its as delicious as it looks.
And in case your mouth wasn't watering enough...
The next morning I met up with my girlfriends for breakfast at snooze  Love that place! You can get anything half savory and half sweet on the menu, which is the perfect breakfast for me since that's always the big debate...savory or sweet. Here you can have both! it's fantastic! Check out this Cinnamon roll pancake...A.MAZ,ING! nom.
After breakfast, I treated myself to a 75 min prenatal massage.
It was heavenly.
Lets just say my 33rd years is starting off great! A Happy Birthday indeed.
Thanks again everyone for all the birthday love!

A Last Hurrah

My Sweet and oh so talented friend Liz moved back to Arizona and I'm so heartbroken about it. Why do good things have to end? We have so much fun together, it's sad I wont get to see her weekly anymore. But we already have girls trips and visits in the works so it wont be forever. We decided to go on a big group date one last time to dinner, and the after party continued with just the girls for desserts. Such a great night full of laughter, hugs, and tears. We will miss you Bryant family. Come visit lots!!

I just love these girls!! So lucky to have them in my life!
