XOXOXO

Happy Hearts Day!
Here is our love day through pictures
Woke up our little Valentine's, with balloons, treats, and a special breakfast made with extra love.
Ella swore the strawberries tasted much better when in the shape of a heart.
My funny baby Valentine huggin' on his balloon kitty. He was still so sleepy just taking all the excitement in.
Whats valentines day with out a few hearts in the hair
I surprised Ella at school during lunch. She has been asking me for a week to come have lunch with her. She was the cutest telling everyone "Hey this is my MOM!! She came to have lunch with ME!!" I need to soak all that love in before she outgrows showing me off her to her friends.
One of Ella's besties wanted to show me how they learned to do the Tango :)
After school we had to dump out all her Valentines to check out her love loot.
That night, we got a babysitter and my main sweetie and I went to a happy hearts day party
We had chocolate fondue, played the newlywed game (that game always cracks me up to see the couples react when they get a question wrong.......us being among them) and snapped some photo booth pictures that had us belly laughing.
Some of the lovely decor....
I know some people aren't fans of this holiday, but I think it's great! Any excuse to get a date night with the Mr. and love on your kids a little more is A-Okay with me!

Be My Valentine

Ella is more than a little excited for Valentine's day. She was beaming while she put together her Valentine's for all her friends in her class. (And of course her "boyfriends" got extra candy in theirs, per Ella's request) Ollie was a big helper to, by trying to grab everything he could get his chubby lil baby hands on. Hope you all have a happy hearts day tomorrow :)

Cookie Crazy

Ella had her 1st Girl Scout cookie booth sale. We set up a lemonade type stand in front of Ralph's grocery store and Ella and her fellow girls scouts put on a smile and sold cookies to there hearts content. I'm still so amazed that Ella is old enough to be a girls scout. She seemed so grown up to me while I watched her telling costumers about how she loves to be a girl scout and which cookies are her favorite. Made my heart swell. Love her.

Family Date Night

Ella informed us that she had never been bowling. How could this be?! We had to fix that asap. Bowling here we come. At the end we asked Ella is she liked bowling and she told us it was "hard work" I can't imagine what she would have thought if we didnt end up using the ramp or the bumpers :)

Awww Young Love

I noticed Ella got into the washable window crayons and decorated her window for Valentines day (ignore my dirty window please, hopefully the lovely artwork will distract you) I also noticed her "boyfriends" name inside one of the hearts. When I asked her about it, this was her response:

Me: "Ella, did you write Tyler's name on your window?"
E: "Yes b/c he is my boyfriend now mom!"
Me: "Really? aren't you a little young to have a boyfriend already?"
E: "No mom, I'm 5 and I don't just have 1 boyfriend I have 3!"
Me: "Oh, you do??"
E: "Well...I'm worried Bennett's heart will be broken, and Axel moved to a different school, but I have made my choice and I choose Tyler. He is a dream come true" (not even kidding she said dream come true...Uh...are you 14??)
Me: "Hmmm well..."
E: "I am going to make him the best Valentine EVER! How many days till Valentine's day? I can't even wait!!"

Wow, I am in trouble for sure. But how can I not giggle and smile at this budding romance? I mean, it is the week of Love and all ;)

Lookie Who's 6 Months!

I want to freeze time. I love this age!! 6 to 9 months is my fav.
Some of Mr. Ollie's stats @ 6 months:
Height: 26" 25%
Weight: 18lb 50%
(the weight Ella was at 1 year!!)
Head: 17 1/2 50%
He really is my round lil meatball ;)

He hit some rather big milestone that must be documented on da' bloggy blog.
(sorry for the fuzzy pics he kept trying to grab the camera)
He got his bottom not 1 but 2 teeth in!! This is crazy to me since Ella didn't get any teeth till 11months.
Got his 1st tastes of solid foods (video to come)  much bigger fan of rice cereal than baby food, surprised by that, since rice cereal seems so yucky.
Can now sit up all by his little self and looks oh so adorable doing so.
